SUMMARY:Autumn Equinox Ceremony: Being Present with Nature\, inside and out
DESCRIPTION:Hi Eurobodalla locals in tune with place and soul\, \nI hope the year is offering you opportunities to deepen and practice resilience\, as well as celebrate being alive at this momentous time.\nAutumn Equinox falls on Saturday March 21st. It happens to also be Harmony Day\, offering us the opportunity to celebrate “cultural diversity\, inclusion\, and belonging for all Australians.”\n\nI want to propose a gathering that deepens this social focus\, to honour the traditional owners of this beautiful and bounteous Country first\, and then to include the more-than-human nature that is alive and sentient also.\n\nDetails:\n\n\nMoruya Labyrinth and Microforest\, from 2-3.30pm\, Saturday March 21st.\nCeremony: Being Present with Nature\, inside and out. \nBring: A willingness to settle awareness into the bodymind with curiosity.\n\n\nThis will be a free event and open to anyone. \nPlease feel free to share with like-minded people. \n\nFurther for this year\, I would like to convene an event that allows for some sharing. We have some fabulous locals who have been honouring their relationship with nature in diverse ways and who perhaps would be generous enough to share their knowledge or practices. If this speaks to you\, please let me know and I will support such seedlings as they appear from the soil of the Eurobodalla\, Land of Many Waters. \n\n\nAll the best in deepened relationship with the more-than-human community\,\nGeoff Berry\ngeoff@naturecalling.org

SUMMARY:In Conversation with Author: Mark McKenna
DESCRIPTION:The history of Australia has been written before – but not like this. \nIn The Shortest History of Australia\, Mark McKenna offers a compelling new version of our national story. \nThis is a modern Australia permeated by First Nations history; a multicultural society with an island mindset; a continent of epic beauty and extreme natural events; a country obsessed by war abroad but blind to its founding war at home; and a thriving nation-state still to realise its political independence. \nMcKenna’s wise and humane history reveals the surprising in the familiar\, and reframes the past so we can see the present more clearly. \nBook your spot: https://events.humanitix.com/mark-mckenna
