Repair Cafe

SHASA has been running a weekly Repair Cafe since 2020. We have saved thousands of items from landfill and owners thousands of dollars. We have brought a number of family heirlooms back into operation. The Eurobodalla Repair Cafe operates in air-conditioned comfort:

every Friday

from 9.30am–12.30pm

Red Door Hall, Anglican Parish, Page St, Moruya

Need Repairs Done?

Bring in your household items that need repairing such as: electrical goods, clothing, bicycles, and furniture. There is a three-step process of assessment:
Step 1 – Assess whether an item is repairable;
Step 2 – Identify whether the item can be repaired by the Repair Café
Step 3 – Advise of alternative local repair options if the Repair Café is unable to repair the item.

Repairers Needed!

Do you have skills at repairing that you can share? Or are you interested to learn from other repairers? Come and join us. Repairers are provided with a variety snacks and other refreshments. You don’t have to commit every single week, but we’d love to see you at least once a month, and we have a 7-8 week shutdown over the summer holiday.

The Repair Cafe comprises four teams:
◦ General Team (electrical, carpentry, etc)
◦ Clothing Team
◦ IT support Team
◦ Administrative and Catering Team (welcome desk, and catering).
