Heat and Smoke Haven: Batemans Bay Anglican

6 Herarde St, Batemans Bay

The haven is open to all members of the public during an extreme weather event. The installed solar panels, battery and satellite wifi provide power and communications in case of an outage.

Batemans Bay Anglican Church joins the Heat and Smoke Haven network as the second haven in Batemans Bay. It is close to the Uniting Church Catalina, the other haven in Batemans Bay. 

The church has capacity to seat 200 people, while its hall can seat approximately 120, both in airconditioned spaces.

The church has a unisex disabled toilet, while the hall has separate male and female toilets. The hall also has kitchen facilities.

The hall is a equipped with a defibrillator and there is an enclosed grassy area at the side for pets.
