Opening of the RfR Community Solar Reuse Centre

13 April @ 11:00 am - 1:00 pm

Join us on 13 April to celebrate the opening of the RfR Community Solar Reuse Centre.

Our dedicated volunteers have worked hard to prepare it as an innovative contribution towards a circular economy: reusing, repurposing and recycling pre-loved solar energy systems.

Nathan Ladmore, Eurobodalla Shire Council’s Divisional Manager of Waste Services, will open the Centre.

A key feature of the new Centre is the Waste Art space, and its inaugural exhibition will be opened on this occasion by our Deputy Mayor Alison Worthington, a strong supporter of RfR. We’ll be showcasing the talents of a wonderful array of artists.

From paintings to sculptures, there is a diverse range of mediums and styles. We are confident that the works of these artists will captivate and inspire.

The exhibition will not only display the immense creative and artistic skill in our community but, in conjunction with the rest of the new Centre, will also help change the community conversation on waste.

It will extend our understanding of the myriad benefits of a circular economy: waste is valuable, in ways limited only by our imagination.

We hope you will join us and be part of this exciting occasion.
