Heat and Smoke Haven: Narooma Men’s Shed

The heat haven is open to members of the Men’s Shed and their families. 

SHASA successfully applied for funding to install airconditioning, backup generator, solar panels and solar battery, and satellite wifi.

The facilities available to host visitors comfortably include: 

  • airconditioned large kitchen and dining area, which can be separated from the other areas of the Men’s Shed
  • an accessible toilet
  • a second bathroom with shower (not accessible)
  • satellite wifi ensuring internet access during power and telecommunications outages.

Refrigerators and facilities for making tea and coffee are available, but visitors are encouraged to bring other food and things to do while in attendance. People must sign in and out of the building as they are coming or going.
