We aren’t the only ones focused on heat refuges

As most of you will know, SHASA completed a major project in partnership with the Anglican Parish Moruya in 2020 to upgrade the Red Door Hall as a bushfire and heatwave haven. It’s listed on our Community Solar Installation page here. If you missed the story, read it here.

Well they are recognising the importance of these structures in Sydney too. Here is the story. We wish them well on their journey.

Meanwhile SHASA is working to identify and secure funding suitable sites for further heatwave havens across the Eurobodalla.
